Work To Be Done

Now my holiday is over I don't expect to be turning out a post every day. If past form is to go by then once a week if I am lucky.
In the meantime I present this picture taken from Garvie's leap, the rock at the end of my garden, yesterday.
The view is down the Conwy Valley over the towns of Dolgarog and Llanrwst looking towards the high mountains between Bala and Dolgellau.
The snow capped peak right of centre and in the distance is Arenig Fawr, about 35 kilometres from my house if you could fly there.
I like this picture as it give you a clear idea of the level that my house is at compared to the valley.
I think I showed you this view as a river of mist earlier in the year.
This , along with the last couple of posts should give you also a sense of why, despite the lack of a road, neighbours, or broadband, I wake every day lucky to be alive in such beauty.

Just had a quick look at your flickr but trying to prepare supper at the mo so only got to page 7. Will have to look at the rest so please don't change the photos yet! The one of you and Melissa in the swing, pushed by your Dad is absolutely beautiful!
I do apologise for my slightly juvenile comment made last night on returning home from my birthday-visit-to-the-pub. I am old enough to know better than to spoil a very lovely post with such a silly comment.....must ask Kev to make sure I never go near the computer again after having a drink.:\

Wonderful view! You are so lucky.

What makes you lucky is not only the view, but the fact that you continue appreciating its beauty. True, it is better than what most of us face first thing in the morning, but I'm sure there are people around who are just not capable of seeing what beauty is around them.
